Based at The Courtyard Craft Centre in Lytchett Minster, Dorset, we specialise in creating beautiful, personalised memorial jewellery and keepsakes using your loved one's ashes, hair or fur.

We are delighted to offer our UK-wide postal service, allowing customers from across the country to have something truly special created without needing to visit our studio.

Every memorial piece is individually created here at Cockatoo Studio, with care, compassion and attention to detail.

Everyone's wishes are different, and we want you to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring designs and discussing exactly what you would like.

Whether you already have a particular piece in mind or need a little guidance, we're here to help you through the process.

With a wide selection of jewellery styles, metals and over 50 beautiful colours to choose from, we can work together to create something truly personal.

We don't offer an online checkout for our memorial jewellery because we believe your precious memories deserve a more personal approach.

How Our Postal Service Works

We've made our postal service as straightforward and reassuring as possible.

Step 1 – Get in Touch

Simply contact us by telephone, email or message to discuss what you have in mind.

We can talk through our range of memorial jewellery and keepsakes, the available designs, colours, finishes and prices.

There is no obligation to place an order, and we're always happy to answer any questions.

Step 2 – Receive Your Postal Collection Pack

Once we've discussed your requirements and you're happy to proceed, we will send you a postal collection pack.

Your pack includes:

• A small collection tin to hold your precious ashes, hair or fur.

• A spoon to help transfer the small amount of ashes required.

• Ring sizer if required.

• A prepaid, tracked and signed-for return postal label.

We will guide you through how much is needed and how to prepare your inclusions for their journey to us. Only a small amount is usually required to create your memorial jewellery.

Step 3 – Creating Your Memorial Keepsake

Once your precious inclusions arrive at our Dorset studio, we will carefully create your chosen memorial piece.

All our memorial jewellery is created in-house at Cockatoo Studio, rather than sending your loved one's ashes or hair elsewhere to be set.

Each piece is individually made with the care, respect and attention it deserves.

You can choose whether you would like the ashes to be visible, finely mixed or blended within your chosen colour, creating a beautiful stone-like appearance.

Step 4 – Returning Your Finished Keepsake

Once your memorial jewellery or keepsake is completed, it will be carefully packaged and returned to you using a tracked and signed-for postal service.

Any unused ashes, hair or fur will also be carefully returned to you.

Your finished piece will be ready to wear, treasure and keep your loved one close.

Postal Service Costs – £20

Our UK-wide postal service costs £20 per order, in addition to the price of your chosen memorial jewellery or keepsake.

This includes:

• Your postal collection pack, including collection tin and spoon.

• Prepaid, tracked and signed-for postage to return your precious inclusions to our studio.

• Tracked and signed-for delivery of your completed memorial jewellery or keepsake back to you.

We understand how precious these inclusions are, which is why we use a tracked and signed-for service for additional reassurance.

There are no hidden costs. We will always discuss the full price of your jewellery, any personalisation and the postal service before proceeding.

Our memorial jewellery range includes rings, pendants, bracelets, beads, earrings and other meaningful keepsakes.

We offer a selection of metals including sterling silver, gold, stainless steel, tungsten and titanium, with designs to suit different tastes and budgets.

With over 50 colours available, along with beautiful opal and decorative finishes, you can create a piece that reflects the personality and memories of someone special.

Whether you're remembering a much-loved family member or a treasured pet, every piece is created with the same care and compassion.

Local Customers Are Always Welcome

Although we offer our postal service throughout the UK, customers living locally are always welcome to visit us in person.

You can discuss your requirements, view examples of our work and bring your loved one's ashes, hair or fur directly to our studio.

There is no need to post your precious inclusions if you prefer to visit us.
