Visiting Our Studio

If you are local to us, you are very welcome to visit Cockatoo Studio in Lytchett Minster to personally leave your loved one’s ashes or hair with us.

We understand just how precious these are and will talk you through everything we need. Only a very small amount is required to create your memorial jewellery or keepsake.

Once your piece is complete, you can collect it personally from our studio.

Postal Service

Our new dedicated UK postal service will be available soon, making the process even easier and providing clear guidance on safely sending your precious inclusions to us.

Whether you visit us personally or use our postal service, your ashes or hair will be treated with the utmost care and respect throughout their time with us.

Choosing memorial jewellery is deeply personal, and we understand how important it is to find something that feels right for you and reflects the person you are remembering.

Our jewellery collection includes a wide range of stainless steel, silver, tungsten, titanium and gold pieces, with styles to suit different tastes and budgets.

You can personalise your chosen piece further with a selection of colours, opals and other beautiful inclusions, allowing us to create something truly individual to you.

Prices start from £45, which includes carefully placing your loved one’s ashes into your chosen piece here at Cockatoo Studio.

If you have something particular in mind that you don’t see within our usual range, please ask. We are always happy to explore different options and help you create a memorial piece that is personal to you.

Every memorial piece we create is personal to you. With over 50 beautiful colours to choose from, along with opals and other decorative options, we can create a finish that reflects your loved one, a special memory, a favourite colour or simply something you love.

You can also choose how you would like the ashes to appear within your jewellery.

Ashes Showing
Fine ashes are carefully mixed with your chosen colour, with selected pieces of ash visible within the finished design. This creates a beautiful and recognisable connection to your loved one.

Fine Ashes Mixed
The finest ashes are gently blended into your chosen colour, creating a more subtle appearance that can resemble a beautiful stone. The ashes are present within the piece but are less immediately visible.

Ashes Blended
The ashes are blended throughout your chosen colour, creating a wonderfully discreet effect. From a distance it can appear like a decorative stone, while a closer look reveals the precious ashes held within.

There is no right or wrong choice. Some people find comfort in being able to clearly see the ashes, while others prefer something more subtle and private.

We will talk you through the different options and help you create a piece that feels completely personal to you — a lasting keepsake with its own special meaning and story.

Laser engraving offers another beautiful way to create a lasting and personal tribute to someone you love.

Our laser engraving is carried out in-house at Cockatoo Studio, allowing us to create a wide variety of personalised memorial items with care and attention to detail.

From photographic memorial plaques and keepsakes to keyrings featuring a fingerprint, handwriting, paw print or nose print, we can turn something incredibly personal into a keepsake to treasure.

We can also add names, dates, special messages and other personal details to many of our memorial pieces.

Our laser engraved range is continually growing, and we love working on something a little different. If you have an idea for a memorial item that you don't see on our website, please ask — we may be able to create it especially for you.

Sometimes you may want something more than jewellery — something you can see, hold and keep close.

Our beautiful resin memorial keepsakes are carefully created using your loved one’s ashes or hair, providing a lasting and tangible reminder of someone special.

Our memorial robin remains a firm favourite and can be created in a colour of your choice, with your loved one’s precious ashes carefully incorporated into the resin.

We also offer a growing selection of other resin keepsakes, giving you different ways to create something personal and meaningful to display or simply hold when you need to feel close to the person you are remembering.

As with all our memorial work, your keepsake is created with care here at Cockatoo Studio.
